Chain Of Command/Chain Of Responsibility Badge

A command hierarchy is a group of people dedicated to carrying out orders “from the top”, that is, of authority. It is part of a power structure: usually seen as the most vulnerable and also the most powerful part of it. Chain of command in the workplace refers to how that power or authority functions and applies in a company, to every employee at each level. Just as its proponent Henri Fayol (1841-1925), the more clear cut the chain of command, the more effective the decision making process and greater the efficiency.
